As part of inXile Entertainment's 15th Anniversary Celebration, we are releasing an updated version of The Bard's Tale: Remastered & Resnarkled! This will be the new standard edition of the game on Steam, and is also now available for hte first time ever on PS4 and PS Vita!
If you own the game on Android or iPhone, no worries - those versions of the game feature the same improvements, including achievements and expanded language support.
What's New
PC Version
- Updated splash screen and app icon.
- Runs at highest desktop resolution by default.
- Graphics settings app updated to no longer incorporate legacy language settings. Instead, your Steam language setting is used. You can also change the game's language separately in its Steam Properties window.
- Steam Achievements & Trading Cards added.
- Full Steam overlay support (Shift + Tab).
- Additional language support for Italian.
- 64-bit OS’s no longer crash at startup.
Those of you who have the game on Steam will automatically receive the Remastered & Resnarkled version. Installing or purchasing the game from Steam will also automatically grant you the new version - no need to install a separate update or patch.
PS4 & PS Vita Versions
- Runs at high resolutions (compared to Xbox and PlayStation 2).
- PlayStation Trophy support.
- Purchasing the game unlocks it for play on both PS4 & PS Vita!
